EcoPac Refill Systems are also environmentally friendly, reducing lab waste by 70% and requiring less shelf space than standard racks. Tabs on the ends of reload grids are manufactured to the identical height of the box, so as to not interfere with multichannel pipettors. Vertex racks are made robust and designed to withstand multiple autoclave cycles. The Vertex rack was designed to elevate the tips relative to the base in order to facilitate offset pipetting. The footprint of Vertex racks is suitable for stacking purposes. Sterile product is preserved in an easy-to-open, zip-strip plastic encasement. Racks are labeled with volume and lot information for easy identification. Labels are autoclavable and recyclable. The Vertex Rack Patented, press-to-open technology enables easy one-handed operation while also remaining securely closed when not in use.
