Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you, the sources from which it was collected, the purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.

Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law.

Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

A) Verification of Consumer Requests

To protect your personal information, we must verify your identity before processing requests to know, delete, or correct your information. The verification process depends on the type and sensitivity of the request.

For requests submitted by email or through our contact form, we will ask you to provide at least two of the following pieces of information that we can match against our records:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address on file with SSIbio
  • Your company name associated with your inquiry

For requests to delete or correct personal information, we may require a higher degree of verification and ask you to confirm additional details from your prior interactions with us. We will not retain any information you provide solely for verification purposes beyond what is necessary to complete the verification.

If we cannot verify your identity with reasonable certainty, we may deny the request and will notify you of that decision and the reason for it.

B) Authorized Agent Requests

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. To do so, the authorized agent must:

Provide written proof that you have granted them permission to act on your behalf (such as a signed authorization letter or a valid power of attorney); and be able to verify their own identity upon request.

Even where an authorized agent submits the request, SSIbio may contact you directly to confirm that the agent is authorized and to verify your identity, unless you have provided a valid power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4000–4465.

To submit a request as an authorized agent, please contact us at marketing@ssibio.com and include the written authorization with your request.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 9. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required by law.
